Ministers of the EucharistThe ministers of the Eucharist have the function of distributing holy communion as extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, according to the conditions of the article of the extraordinary minister of the Eucharist. AcolyteThe functions of an acolyte are to take care of the service of the altar, to assist the deacon and the priest in the liturgical actions, especially in the celebration of the Mass ReadersThe reader exists to read the Scriptures except the Gospel. For the hearing of the divine readings to awaken in the hearts of the faithful that living and soft affection for the Word of God, it is necessary that the readers are truly suitable and carefully prepared.
